The problem with having a girlfriend with a husband is that she has to cancel her dates with you if he decides not to leave town.
In her sing-song voice she calls you "little sweet boy." For a present she gives you three petals of the rose she saved from her trip to the Wine Country, pressed between pages. Her eyes are brown, and her hair the most lustrous black since god invented lustrous black, back before there were people to spoil it.
My stomach muscles are sore.
