Your friends, dressed as '60s longhairs, present an educational sketch re "snick", SNCC, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, highlighting its role in the anti-war movement. The people look like painted clowns, with washmops for wigs and ruby red rouge on dimpled cheeks. But the mood becomes ugly. A man with graying temples snickers derisively -- a professor, you think -- so that you turn on him with contempt and even violence, shaking your fist, berating him with strong words, sometimes obscene words, until the smugness on his face turns to alarm.
