A very small girl indeed is frightened because her friend is the friend of someone she's not friends with.
She takes her lunch to the opposite end of the lunch court, thinking, "I'll always eat alone for the rest of my life."
Her friend, missing her, sends a note. She refuses it, writing on the envelope, "I feel this is inappropriate."
A play in -- how many acts is it?
