Febuary 13, 2005:

Charm like a laser beam, turned on at will, like flipping a switch, devoting complete attention to the target, who stands dazzled and benumbed, blinking.

Hoteliers, store managers, tour guides, performers. People she wants something from.

With me she's offhand, dismissive, critical, petty, petulant, hostile, impatient, rude. It's as though I'm a diversion of energy from her true purpose: the seduction of whatever merchant possesses the thing she requires at that particular moment.

Except when she wants sex.
