The major change, or the most obvious one, is that she's more assertive. Sometimes that seems to mean, less uncomfortable being demanding. More direct.
It's possible that the work she's invested has resulted in improvements that are more subtle. It doesn't seem that way. She's still unhappy. She still lies. She's still overwhelmed with self-pity.
