The myth of Polynesian sexuality.

Stupid, thoughtless: missionaries destroyed the old culture two hundred years ago. Interesting that something so patently false still resonates among the American and English and French descendants of the sailors who first encountered that freedom.

Whitebread. Ugly. Disrespects the people. Head full of myth: the arrogant, thoughtless residue of colonial horror. "Did you get any action?"

Later with evident self-satisfaction he forwards a sleazy personal ad from a hooker who claims to be an island girl.
