Profoundly different from the other kids.
Unique. Genius. Alone.
As a child she gives him books emphasizing his isolation. Against the Fall of Night; Flowers for Algernon. There's no-one so special.
Yet as he grows she fights to deny his individuality. Above all, suppress his dreams. Through fear, passivity, sarcasm, outright sabotage. Dreams are not to be pursued. Not even by geniuses.
