She cleaned the mold from your camera bag by keeping it with her in the sun day after day. A lot of work, really a lot of work, perhaps more than you'd have done for her.

This is what makes people complicated. The good things they do, their moments of generosity. So that when bad things happen it's easy for you to think, glass half full, maybe it won't be too long before the next good experience.
