Pushing a heavy, potted plant laboriously down the brownstone stairs. Your habit is to move it a few stairs, then return to it later. People ask, "Is this one of those Sisyphean tasks? You reach the bottom with it, only to have it reappear at the top?" You look at them like they're crazy, replying, "No, when it reaches the bottom, I'm done."
