"Chin-ups are important!
"You may be in a war some day. You may come to a wall, and you may have enemies chasing you, and you may have to climb that wall to save your life. And the only thing standing between you and death, will be your skill at chin-ups."
He became the best in the class. Skinny little boy, so thin his little arms were like insect legs. Practicing at home, in trees, on slides.
The two points of pride in his life. He was the best at chin-ups, and he could catch any ball any boy could throw, no matter how much older they were than him, or stronger.
