Her lies are so painful to the loved ones who surround her. Yet she's blind to it.
"Little white lies," she says. Their purpose in her mind is to shield others from truths they don't want to hear.
She believes herself to be expert, when in fact everyone who knows her learns through experience to second-guess every word. Every one. Until they inevitably come to reject even the true things she says.
