I left when my experience showed me unequivocally that I was head and shoulders more capable than their organization would allow me to be.
This is not arrogance. It's a symptom of the legacy of generations of defeat. A legacy which promoted specific narrow leadership qualities, to the detriment of the project.
The one instance in my life so far in which I have been able to successfully remove myself from a situation that held me back.
