September 11, 2008:

The silence is meaningful: it follows from my resolve to re-make myself, repair my damaged life. If there's a personal history to the last eight years it's entirely the struggle to regain equilibrium. Double context. Emotionally: recovery from devastation and darkness. Financially, recovery from enormous indebtedness following the choices of that period.

Twelve years gone.
