Proper English music, with its sweet little minor sevenths, resolving correctly, in the right spot, where it's supposed to.
Written by an arithmetic instructor, who thinks of music in terms of number. Or by a computer operator, who does the same.
Lacking danger.
Property manicured, like a well-kept English garden in the well-kept English countryside, under control at all times, never the possibility that something unruly might creep in, wild like weeds.
