The lesson I had to work to understand is that I did nothing wrong.
There's no hidden mistake.
She was unwell, and I became swept-up in it.
I tried to be loyal and helpful.
I ended up getting clobbered.
It's not my fault.
It's not her fault.
I would do it again.
