Delay isn't so much a disappointment as a form of persecution.

To want something is to change the fabric of the universe, as though desire were a kind of gravity capable of pulling all of space-time to it, like a black hole.

Denial is criminal, no matter how trivial the thing denied the appropriate response is violence, like that of governments meting justice on the depraved.
