November 28, 2004. North Coast, Kauai.
The North Coast is the most verdant. It poured: in these shots you can watch the storm move in. We carried on -- but without my camera -- on slippery trails to the lovely Ka-ulu-Paoa Heiau, the most important school of hula in the islands for over 1,000 years. We were soaked and deeply moved.
