I had walked here from Papeete, about six or seven kilometers. Took the bus back. Bought a pizza, brought it back to my hotel room. Put it on the floor to fetch keys from pocket. Bending over to pick it up, pinched a nerve: meralgia paresthetica. Spent the next several weeks in great pain, with right thigh dead meat numb. This is the last pic I snapped healthy.
