April 10, 2017:

Slumped.

Grotesque belly like a basketball propping a filthy MacBook covered in crumbs. Surrounded by garbage, on her tray, on the tray of the empty seat next to her, on the seat itself, on floor beneath her feet, spilling into the aisle where a woman holding a baby trips over her purse and goes staggering face-first.

Head back, mouth open, fingers folded like a corpse in a coffin. The garbage corpse woman, slumped in the aisle seat, taking up space.
