Psychedelics.
Molly, most frequently. Also acid, mushrooms, DMT, ayahuasca. The girls are trippin'.
For recreation primarily. EDM festivals. Extra-sensory stimulation, psychedelic consumerism, enlightenment need not apply.
For others, a spiritual quest. Breakthrough trip: DMT, machine elves. Commune with — er — something: ayahuasca.
My friend replaced her cocktail of anti-depressants and Adderall after a series of LSD experiences led her to the origins of her crises. Once arrived at that destination she ended her experimentation.
My experiences were neither revelatory nor demonic. Perhaps the dosage was too small for insight. I saw heightened colors, my fingers left trails through the air. I felt very high but that was it.
I'm very interested in what my friend has to say. Not particularly because the drugs fascinate, but because she does.
