April 8, 2019:
They were vibrant when they were young. Fresh-faced, all babies and dogs and smiles that look genuine.
By retirement they're sallow, bloated, all blotches and broken capillaries.
My guess would be lifetimes of hard drinking. Very hard, from appearances.
No matter how much arrogance you're taught you deserve, in the end we're all equals before the laws of chemistry.
