How "Brown Material Road" got its name:
Scenario One
[In gruff working-class voice:] "Hey remember that brown material we found out in the field?"
"Yeah."
[In gruff working-class voice:] "Let's build a road out to it so we can get to it easier."
Scenario Two
"We need to build a road out to that field, but we're short on building supplies. Whattawe got that we can substitute?"
[In gruff working-class voice:] "Well, we got tons of this brown material."
