Doctor Arrogance absolutely, unequivocally, flatly and without room for disagreement determines and insists that the patient's extreme abdominal pain is indigestion.
It's not. It's pancreatitis.
Within a few days, patient owns a room in Hotel Stepdown, where he has an increasingly less uncomfortable vacation over the next three months or so.
No lawsuits allowed. It's in the "Sign me up!" paperwork for joining [large HMO], patient's signature prominently and unfortunately contained.
